Taxes

Pay taxes with Bankgirot electronically, automatically or manually
With Bankgirot, you can deal with paying all your taxes and state fees. Our services are simple to use, and improve the efficiency of your company’s administrative procedures. Moreover, you can rest assured that your payments will always be made on time, since Bankgirot monitors the due date regardless of how you choose to pay your tax. This means that you avoid penalty charges and interest costs. You can choose between three different ways of dealing with tax payments. Electronically using Supplier Payments, automatically using tax authorisation or manually using tax giro.

Electronic payments – Supplier Payments
The simplest way to pay tax is to use the Supplier Payments service. Just like with an ordinary supplier invoice, you use your accounting system to create a payment instruction which is sent to Bankgirot with the file transfer. All tax is now paid into bankgiro number 5050-1055.

Automatic payments – Tax authorisation
Paying F-tax and particularly A-tax automatically is a good choice if you do not have a computerised accounting system. By granting a power of attorney, you can allow the bank instead to obtain information from the Swedish National Tax Board about the amount of tax due. From then onwards, the bank will ensure that your taxes are automatically taken from your account on the right day. The power of attorney you grant to the bank applies until you revoke it.

Manual payments – Tax giro
Tax giro involves filling in a payment form and depositing it with a bank branch or sending it to Bankgirot using one of the banks’ paperwork services. You can pay all types of tax manually, including customs duty and specific taxes. Other charges and taxes payable to state authorities with postgiro accounts can also be paid in this way.

Tax rebates
In accordance with a new regulation (SFS 2004:340), tax rebates are to be paid by bank deposit.
